The Online Gallery is a quarterly magazine championing emerging and established artists, in a vibrant community space. We design the magazine in its entirety, enjoying the challenge of presenting the artists’ and writers’ work, in a way that complements and enhances them.
Atlanta’s growing art scene is the focal point for Edition 12 of The OG Magazine, which was released recently at The Atlanta Art Fair.
This edition features three cover variations: one featuring a work by Radcliffe Bailey and two featuring portraits of Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats by Derrick Adams wrapping around the cover in different directions.
Cover artist Radcliffe Bailey, is honoured in this edition, after his untimely passing last year. In his work, Bailey explored themes of race, ancestry and migration in different forms and opened up many discussions around heritage.
Another highlight of this edition is a focus on The Dean Collection, a contemporary art collection owned by Kasseem "Swizz Beatz" Dean and Alicia Keys. GIANTS, an exhibition showcasing the collection, is currently on show at the High Museum, Atlanta.
Further artists featured include: Fahamu Pécou, Karen Comer Lowe, Lauren Jackson Harris, Ming Smith, Devin B. Johnson, Patrick Eugene, Kent Kelley, Alex Delotch Davis, Samuel Levi Jones, Navin June Norling, Cam Kirk.
