For the second year running we’ve been working with Nike in China on footballing icon Cristiano Ronaldo’s promotional tour of the country.
We’ve developed for them two visual identities – one, seen above, that manipulates his squad number, 7, to create patterns that pay tribute to the speed and explosiveness of his play, and one that celebrates the Nike League Final, a regional football tournament he attended while he was there.
Other designs include an animated version of Cristiano’s CR7 logo, rendered into Chinese characters as ‘C罗’.
